Kathmandu, Sept 19:
A delegation led by Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal is leaving for New York, USA, on Sunday to participate in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Khanal is scheduled to participate in various high-level meetings, side events and ministerial-level engagements.
He will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts and other dignitaries. It may be noted that the official Nepali delegation to the 81st UNGA is being led by Prime Minister Balendra Shah, who will leave for New York on September 22.
Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to address the General Debate of the session on September 24. During his stay in New York, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold a meeting with the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres. (RSS)
