    Kathmandu, Sept 8:

The fourth batch of emergency relief supplies from China arrived here today afternoon, aboard a Y-20A large transport aircraft of the PLA Air Force of China.

Mahabir Pun, Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, and Zhang Maoming, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, attended the handover ceremony of the relief supplies held at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

This newest batch of relief supplies mainly includes rescue hovercrafts, stainless steel permanent magnet flood pumps, spare batteries, mortuary freezers, and solar powered lights, according to the Chinese Embassy.

All items are tailored to Nepal's most urgent needs, and will provide strong support for emergency rescue operations and subsequent work in the disaster affected areas, the Embassy added. TRN Online
