The number of people rescued from the flash flood hit area has reached 10,541 while the number of missing is reported to be 4,247.
The number of human casualty in the devastating Bhotekoshi flash flood that occurred on August 26 has reached 903 as of today morning, according to the national disaster risk reduction and management authority (NDRRMA).
Of the rescued, 252 people are foreign nationals. Of the injured 267, 156 have been discharged from the hospital, and six surgical medical team has been working in the affected area.
A total of 20,819 security personnel has been involved in the search and rescue operations. Of them, the number of personnel from Nepal Police is 7,894, from Nepali Army is 8,722 and from the Armed Police Force, Nepal, is 4,203.
