A writ has been registered in the Supreme Court demanding the removal of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane, who is involved in embezzlement and misappropriation of Hakari's money.
Anupam Bhattarai filed a writ petition against Lamichhane. The hearing of the said writ has been fixed on 16th of June. The petitioner has demanded the suspension of Lamichhane, who was involved in the co-operative fraud case, and the cancellation of the letter of the Attorney General's office stating that there is no case against him.
The petitioner demands that he should be removed from the post as it will affect the investigation of the co-operative fraud investigation. Earlier, the said writ was filed. After filing an application in the bench demanding cancellation, the court ordered to register.
